- 1948 – Omori Machinery Co., Ltd. of Japan founded by Mr. Shozo Omori
- 1982 – Weldotron becomes North American distributor for Omori – and first Omori packaging machine shipped to North America
- 1987 – B.W. Cooney & Associates founded by Brian & Wendy Cooney – starts distributing food packaging supplies such as padded trays
- 1996 – B.W. Cooney takes over as North American distributor for Omori packaging machines
- 2000 – Mr. Shozo Omori becomes Chairman of the Board of Omori Machinery Co., Ltd., his eldest son Mr. Yuichi Omori takes up his post as President
- 2008 – Mr. Shozo Omori appointed as Honorary Chairman of Omori Machinery Co., Ltd., Mr. Yuichi Omori appointed as Chairman, and Mr. Shozo Omori’s second son Mr. Toshio Omori appointed as President
- 2012 – Omori Japan acquires 50% of B.W. Cooney – the company name is changed to Omori North America Inc.
- 2022-06-30 – Omori Japan acquires 100% of Omori North America. Read More

- 2022-10-17 – Todd Jasie hired as new Omori North America Sales Manager
- 2022-10-19 – 10th anniversary of Omori North America
- 2022-11-14 – New ONA Senior Management team in place: Don French (President), Jun Takizawa (Senior Manager), Peter Khemi (Engineering), Branislav Nikic (Service & Parts), Sid Ganguly (Financial Controller), Todd Jasie (Sales), Ashwin Jadav (Plant)
- 2022-12-01 – 35 years that Omori has been in North America as B.W. Cooney and Omori North America
- 2023-03-01 – 75th anniversary of Omori Machinery Co., Ltd. of Japan
